Got a loud clicking noise

Do they sell 1 pad???
Most importantly, once you've removed them, why not replace the lot???
Is your mechanic running his business from a stable?

So it's been caused by what you've done.

You haven't said why you changed what you did, or why 1 brake pad

There's more to this that needs to be known.

I suspect it is currently not safe to drive if you have created a new noise
Think mechanic caused it. There was no noise before mot and service last Monday. Is it the disc or suspension arm. Probably gonna have to hire a rental car. What was done on the service listed below-

If no noise before replacing parts then it's something that's been disturbed.

So it needs checking before driving, something isn't right

You are showing us the top mounting of the drop link ( stabiliser) here.....they do tend to knock going over a bump but won’t produce the noise you mention.
They look fine from here, and the other end connects to the anti roll bar.

Rac guy looked at it. It's cv joint. Must have been affected during mot when my mechanic changed discs or pads or arm. Looking back when they changed my clutch a tear ago might have disturbed drive shaft cv joint.

Will drive it locally only and book it in for repair
