Recently moved to a new house which has a block built shed in the rear garden. On one wall only, there’s a seemingly random column of about 8 house style bricks at the join between the walls and concrete floor . I was hoping to remove these to make it a bit easier to level and refinish the floor which is a future project, as I can’t see what they could be for? They don’t appear to be covering an old opening as there’s no evidence of damp penetration etc in that area and it is significantly below the adjacent ground level of the pavement outside.
Blockwork for the shed has been built directly adjacent to the external garden wall but is clearly made of different materials as the garden wall is a typical brick construction
Any advice welcome as to whether these can safely be removed (top one was already slightly loose).
