Biscuit Debate

I love fig rolls, and a Rich Tea is the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea, if none available then lotus Biscoff makes a great alternative. The argument about jaffa cakes being a cake or a biscuit was settled down to the fact that if a cake goes stale it goes hard, and if a biscuit goes stale it goes soft. The name Jaffa Cakes can be used by any maker as it isn't copyrighted, Lidl do some nice jaffa cakes.

Well this is the beauty of a thread as sophisticated as this one, it gets you thinking and keeps the brain functioning. I can only stand the other threads about shooting people in the face and other threads where political insults are being hurled around for so long. You cannot beat a good biscuit debate. Good old fashioned debating at its best.
 
Peek Freans just came to mind, don’t know if they are still around.
 
Milk Chocolate coated Malted Milk are delicious. I like shortcake and Milk chocolate rounds made by Marks & Sparks or Leibniz Biscuits.
Ive half emptied a cup of tea dunking custard creams, yummy yummy.
 
When I was growing up money was extremely tight so biscuits were ginger nuts or rich tea ☹️

The editor keeps removing the smiley face after the ginger nuts
