Indentured White Servants Were Treated Worse than Black Slaves in the West Indies

Each morning I would offer them coffee on our private deck and told them to take it easy, They enjoyed their stay with us as we treat them well and gave them large tips and because of this they would do anything for us, I used to get hot chocalates made by them at 3am when I got back from the bars. A lot of people treat them badly and it was always the toffee nosed twerps who didnt respect them.

That's usual.

That's usual.
On an evening we used to go to the posh dining for dinner, the waiting staff were brilliant, hard working and wanting to please. Lena and I always had time for them and appreciated their service, some toffe nosed twerps were snappping their fingers at them or grabbing their arms as they walked past their tables. Never heard any of them thank them or talk to them. The attitude of some people is horrendous and so anyone slating off the slave trade from decades ago only have to look around them now.

African-Americans and Caribbeans belong to a different species from those of white, European ancestry
He (Simon Webb) didn't quite say that; he said that he wonders if the different races of humans are actually different species; and states, quite reasonably, that modern science would never research such a theory for fear of being termed racist.

He points out that there are several different species of dog, of horse, of cat etc, so why only one species of human?

Maybe, but another angle is that, in net terms, the world developed more as a whole thanks to the exploitation of the natural resources and the resultant, broader economic and technological development.

It has all contributed to the world we all now live in and benefit from. This obvious consideration seems to have escaped your consideration. Also, the slaves taken to the Americas may well have been better off than if they'd stayed in Africa or Arabia. Certainly their decendents have ended up better off, in basic economic, health and other terms.

The efforts and suffering of those who existed before us, in all their many forms, from primitive peoples, to renaissance geniuses, to those hanged for taking a loaf, to African and other slaves, industrial wage slaves, indentured labourers, aristocrats, and so on... were not for nothing. Despite your very modern and over privileged, phony outrage.
Your theory ignores the fact that colonial powers exploited and 'stole' those resources, which enriched the colonial powers to the extent that those exploited countries are still suffering from the discrepancies in wealth, power and technological investment and developement.
You are correct when you say:
It has all contributed to the world we all now live in.
Just not in the ways that you see it. We don't all benefit from the colonial exploitation of resources and people.

and the proof is in the pudding, only the wealthy could afford slaves. It is not really any different now by importing cheap labour from other countries to do work we dont want to do for low wages.
You fail to differentiate between "enslaved" and "employed".
Slaves had no choice and were not paid. They couldn't ask for improved conditions. Their children were born into slavery.
They did not enjoy any protection from any laws.

This is modern day slavery
You mean the filipino workers were captured in the Phillipines, transported in cramped cages with little food or water. No toilet facilities, and washing consisted of the occasional hose pipe. If they became sick and there was a risk of infection, they would all be thrown overboard?
They were not paid and their children were born into the same conditions?
That kind of slavery?

My point being that these are no different to slaves back in thed day.
They were treated like:
Slavery in America was a brutal system of chattel slavery where millions of African people were treated as legal property to be bought, sold, and inherited. Enslaved people were forced into dawn-to-dusk labor, primarily on Southern plantations, enduring extreme physical violence, sexual abuse,, family separation, and total denial of basic human rights
If what you claim is correct, you should refuse to sail on a cruise ever again. You should expose their miserable existence.
Stand up and protest against slavery and the treatment of those slaves.

Your example is like suggesting it was OK to send young boys up chimneys because chimneys are still swept today.
Or that it was OK to burn witches because magicians still practise today.

First of all, I'm glad that you've eventually decided to enter a reasoned and intelligent discussion.

Simon Webb's belief in Scientific Racism is well documented in loads of articles.
Evolutionary biologist Richard Lewontin would hint to this in his double-speak: ... that genes may have influence on intelligence. Webb notes that differences in achievement are still noticed even in recent studies, even when people of different races are put in the same classroom or schools or subjected to the same content. He says that racial prejudice alone may not explain these differences. He also advises that we lift the taboo over discussing race as something real and with biological roots, and continue more studies about it.
To support his point, Webb notes some factual racial differences. Some elements of physical development are faster in black people. Black toddlers tend to walk earlier than white ones. Black teens tend to get into puberty earlier than white ones. Black people tend to have a competitive edge in athletics, and this is attributed to higher levels of testosterone. The downside, however, and this is often attributed to higher testosterone as well, is that more black people commit crimes than other races. Puberty happening earlier means earlier tendency to get into premarital sex. As a result, black students show the least academic aptitude among races. Also, black people have a higher tendency to develop schizophrenia and prostate cancer.
...
Back to Webb, he suggests “Hybrid Vigour,” which is crossbreeding. I take it to mean he encourages interracial mating (and marriage). Perhaps this will allow the good genes from one race to cross over with the other one, with the hope of improving the quality of life of the later generation.

He points out that there are several different species of dog, of horse, of cat etc, so why only one species of human?
There was more than one species of humanoids, and Webb talks about them.
he says that Homo Sapiens, mated with Neanderthals and Denisovans.
He also sees that interbreeding between Neanderthals, Denisovans and Homo Sapiens has occurred in history long before history was recorded.
Based on this, Webb also says that all of humanity are mongrels, since interbreeding had already occurred at some point in prehistory.
He argues for the multi-ethnic interbreeding to overcome his perceived differences in 'races' based on his Race Science ideology.
While arguing his race Science Belief, he becomes confused because his own and others' research refutes his ideology.

Hence there is only one race, the Human Race.
