Hangovers

Back to the thread topic....

Last time I had a Guinness drinking session I had about 9 pints throughout the day and I was absolutely fine the next day so I'll stick to that, no more lager for me.

If I add 1 lager into that im finished the next day

Try vodka and fresh orange or Vodka redbull if your feeling brave

I wouldn't dare, I used to drink vodka when I was younger, prefer a pint now.
I was the same, but Lenas family got me hooked, they drink it neat but I dont. I can get off my face on vodka and fresh orange and have no ill feelings the next day. Vodka redbull is a bit hardcore though. Nearly always suffer with that combo.

Never been a huge fan of vodka - much prefer gin, which is vodka with some decent flavouring.

I remember once drinking some 100+ proof vodka a mate had brought back from Russia - we stuck it in the freezer and it poured thick and oily. Small shot glasses knocked back in one, and it got to about halfway down your sternum before there was an explosion of heat.

Don't remember feeling drunk, but there came a point where it was as if there was a big switch on the side of my head which someone had turned to "OFF".
Teal Russian vodka is fantastic stuff, there is various brands and flavours so depends which you had, this is the gold standard and you can still get it online although now a lot of supermarkets have banned the sale of Russian vodka. Stolichnaya 100 Proof is rocket fuel but my head pounds after it.

The Aldi grey goose copy is the best. As in, it was voted no1.
