Embarrassed ?

Do the younger generation feel embarrassed going out with older folk,?
I work with two 20 year olds and i keep saying we should all go out on the town one weekend, at the time they say i it's a good idea but every time i say how about this weekend they say i can't im doing this and that, but on the monday i say what have you been up too this weekend, and guess what they been out drinking, I don't know whats wrong im only 36 years young
