TTC is correct. The actual socket plate on its own isn’t what makes it compliant — it’s the isolating shaver transformer behind it that matters.
There’s a common assumption in the UK that bathroom shaver sockets must be dual voltage because most of the ones sold here are 115/230V, but that’s really just for convenience and compatibility with travel shavers. The regulations don’t specifically require dual voltage.
As long as it’s installed with the correct isolating transformer and complies with bathroom zone requirements, it should be fine.
