Private Number Plates

Close but no cigar.

Last year the people in the MoT station were very keen to tell me that you can keep a pair of legal plates in the boot, and put them on with blu-tak before the test, removing them immediately afterwards.

When I was a tester, if I saw a numberplate stuck onto another numberplate with no visible screws holding it on, I’d be tempted to give it a wiggle and if it was loose, I’d fail it for not being secure and likely to fall off.
