You'd hope that throwing glass bottles at someone would be assault. It would be on the street if rioters targetted police officers.

Such as throwing a cone at a policeman, I think we have seen a picture like that once or twice.

And some here think it's faked, because the protests were peaceful.

All in the eyes of the viewer, some have lived a more sheltered life and perceive normal everyday occurances as violent or frightening.
