My mum is white and Irish. When she arrived in London during the 60's the population was 7.9m . The population of London decreased for almost 50 years. It is now about 9.1m.
Will Tommy Robinson, who is part Irish, demand that the common travel area (between Ireland and UK) be scrapped. Are there too many native Irish people over here? After all they have non Ingerlish accents- all these years later, my mum pronounces the word "film" as "filum". There are many instances of Catholic priests diddling kids. (Apparently) Tommy is all about protecting the kids. Is it time for the far right to rise up and defile catholic churches and call for the expulsion of all catholics?

As a Londoner, I had to endure years of IRA terrorism. I didn't tolerate all Irish people being tarnished as terrorists. Equally, I will not tolerate all muslims being tarnished as terrorists. That has nothing to do with being left or right wing.
Anecdotal, but the Muslims that I know are decent people. Sure, some are scum, but there are bad people in all religions/races.
In the unlikely event that all Muslims are booted out of the UK, do you imagine that all crime will drop? And if it doesn't which will be the next group of people that you will target?

The number of Irish terrorists and terror supporters as a part of the Irish population is vanishingly small. With muslims, that proportion is significantly higher, and their overall numbers are higher. The decent muslims are irrelevant to that.
Actually that's the wrong way around, terrorism per capita in NI was higher than, for example, the Muslim population of the UK
During the troubles NI had around 1.5 million people and 8,000-10,000 IRA and similar numbers of loyalists. 20,000 per 1.5 means around 1 per 75 people.
The UK has a population of around 4 million Muslims. Mi5 has a watch list of 39,000 extremists. Even assuming the standards are comparable (which I doubt, I suspect the IRA numbers are for more hardcore members and the Mi5 ones include a lot more loosely associated). That's one person per 100. The Northern Irish were more more terroristy per capita than Muslims are.
Plus they were more violent, active and killed more people. 3,500 dead Vs 100 dead, 50,000 injured Vs 1,000 injured.
