Neatest way to apply silicone between floor/wall ?

I was fortunate enough to spend a weekend at a nice hotel and as sad as it seems, I couldnt help but notice how neat the silicone sealer was between the walls and floors. It was a perfectly uniform thickness and completely parallel, even after negotiating some tricky angles, with no smearing...

    Shower head partition wall mount.

No, it's got to come out of the wall. I'll adapt the backplate elbow by bolting it to a length of right angle steel and screwing that to a noggin. I just dont trust the backplate elbow screwed into wood supporting that weight on its own. Thanks for the help !

    Replacement for an Ascot

No asbestos as far as I can see, just a big stainless steel vent to the outside. Not sure which model Ascot it is, but it's white with a brown slide out bottom part which allows access to the pilot light, diaphragm etc. The Chaffoteaux is about £340 and the spec looks good, so i'll instruct my...

Grohe Rapid SL anyone fitted one ?

I used tile backer board screwed into place, and used Miro tile adhesive to secure the tiles. I made sure tile edges lined up with edges of tile backer board so if I really need to, after scraping out some grout, I can remove the whole board with tiles in one go. I used a Grohe metal flush...

Hello, I've just fitted one, but it's higher than yours, 1200mm. To answer your questions: 1. It depends on how low or how high you feel comfortable sitting. All I did was measure an existing toilet and use that height. 2. Yes. 3. I have a flush through. The waste goes out almost...

yes. I can understand putting the pump at the base of the HW cylinder if it is a positive head type pump, but mine is negative head.
