Will one coat be enough before repainting the whole area?

I will soon be repainting the kitchen walls and ceiling, i have filled in all the cracks and holes in the walls and ceiling sanded them down nice and smooth, so before i repaint do i need to put a coat of primer on all areas that have been filled?

I will soon be painting the skirting board in the kitchen and want to avoid paint getting onto the floor tiles and grout, so i seen the Frogtape ads on the telly is this tape as good as they claim or are there better tapes cheaper on the market?

I have 3 inch square tiles half way up my kitchen walls, but the top two tiles on the external corner in the door reveal are loose, i think they are being held by the metal edge trim. I cannot remove the tiles in case they break as i have no spare ones left, so is there any way i can fix this...

I have oil central heating and hot water which is switched off and on by a Potterton programmer, The unit was switched off last week while we where away on holidays and when it was switched back on on our return it is four days behind on the settings, i have tried to sort this with the clock...

I ended up buying some Castrol Edge oil got it for £30 for 4Lt from Amazon.

Thanks John, are more expensive oils worth it, my car is a 2006 Mazda 3 1.6 TD. was looking at the Castrol edge and Mobil super 3000??

Can someone explain what the difference is between a 5W- 30 and a 5W-40 engine oil?

I will soon be power washing all the paths around the house, is there a product that i can apply to the paths to loosen all that winter crap so the job is quicker?

No matter how many times i have repainted the mahogany window fitted to my garage the bottom of the frame always blows the paint off after a bit or bad weather, I prepair the frame by completely removing all the old paint, rub some turpentine of the raw wood to remove any grease etc that might...

Im not unhappy with the led glowing just unhappy that it will not go fully off when it should, put a standard bulb into one side of the light fitting and now the led on the other side goes fully off when it should, strange, would better quality led bulbs work any better as they should

I replaced the interior map reading lights on my mazda 3 to led's they are there a few months but today i noticed that the bulbs dont go completely off when i lock the car they are still slightly on even after a few hours, any one offer any help please?
