joins are not too bad - just used standard plasterboard so edges are slightly rounded but not chamfered. used screws - the horible black drywall screws from screwfix that fill your fingers with splinters!

Hi, I need to split the signal from the aerial to connect to 2 TVs. When I use a conventional splitter the sigbnal drops to an unacceptable level. When either TV is connected without the splitter the signal is fine. Do I just have a cheap splitter? Can I get some kind of signal boosting...

Checked the inlet pipe while shower running and it was hot -turned off boiler and shower temp works correctly - some idiot plumbed it into the hot water instead of the cold!

I have wondred that! Havent checked yet - I guess if I run the shower and feel the inlet pipe I should be able to tell?

So my intention was originally to remove the socket and replace with a junction box. from the junction boa run2 cables, 1 to a socket and one to the light (through a 3amp fused switch). Should I do the above but with a 13a FCU instead of junction box?
