Show screen for double-ended curved bath?

yeah that's what i'm thinking. it looks like the bath would square up and fit into the corner of the room but i think it may look a bit weird being a double ended bath. then adding a show screen to it is going to make it look even more strange! i mentioned a shower curtain and the missus...

Show screen for double-ended curved bath?

We bought a Henley double-ended curved bath a few weeks back, see pic below: Shortly afterwards my other half said she wants to put it in the corner of the bathroom so we can stick a thermostatic shower above it! Being the type of bath it is the manufacture doesnt make screens to fit this...

Candy single oven, no functions working

We have a Candy built-in, single, electric oven. It looks like a fairly modern model, however, it must be at least two years old as it was in the kitchen when we bough the house a few years back. We removed the oven and put it in storage for a couple of weeks while a new kitchen was fitted. I've...

Overboarding with ply for ceramic floor tiles

i was more worried that the ply may not be exterior grade and that it could warp/bubble when the adhesive is spread on to it. the floor is pretty solid/level (new'ish house) so although id have used 12mm i think 9mm would be ok. do yuo think the primer/sealant would prevent the ply (assuming its...

    Replacement Windows & Building Regulations - Saftey/Esca

I'm having some old wooden bedroom windows replaced with new upvc ones next week. The existing windows are 50/50 split double top openers (see photo below) and i've asked that the replacements are the same so that they're in fitting with the others. Anyhow the fitter just called me confirming he...

Replacing wood panels with glass panel

We have wooden 4 panel oak veneered doors through out our house. My other half is always going on about how the house would be so much brighter if the top panels were glased, particularly in the kitchen and living room. I've had a look around the DIY stores/chains but couldnt find any glassed...

Where can i get some 24" 4 Panel Oak Veneered doors?

I'm looking to replace the internal doors on my property. Ive just gone around measuring up and it seems i have 24", 27" and 30" (all 78" high)door ways. Help - Discontinued shower door and missing part.

I purchased a semi frameless glass shower door from Focus DIYT (UK) a while back and just got round to installing it . As I'm fitting it into an alcove I simply bought the door (i.e: did not require side-panels, etc). Anyhow, having just fitted the door it became apparent I was missing a part...

Anyone got or fitted a Salus RT300 room stat?

Are the temprature control keys (ie: + and -) supposed to light up? I've just swapped my old honeywell stat for a Salus RT300. It seems to be working fine but only the LED screen lights up. However, the keys look like they're supposed to illuminate too? I dont know why, but its bothering me :)

    Replacing a room thermostat?

We have an old Honeywell thermostat downstairs to control the temprature. Upstairs (in the airing cuboard) we have a digital programable control to turn on/off the c/heating & hot water. We'd like to replace the Honeywell thermostat with a more modern digital model. There's 3 wires (red...

Replacing cloak room toilet and basin?

Hi all, this is my first post on the DIYnot forums so please take it easy on me :) I’ve done a little diy plumbing in the past but I’m still very much a novice. I need to replace a pair of radiator valves and remove a basin/sink in our cloakroom, however, our central heating system is...
