Does bore size matter in flexible tap tails

Just replaced my kitchen tap monobloc tails with new ones and noticed that the new ones are a smaller internal boar than the old ones that came with the tap. Does it matter , I do not notice any difference in water pressure out of the tap. - See picture for comparison.

My fix for wobbly kitchen tap on sink

This seems to be a common problem - why don't sink manufacturers reinforce that section. Anyway the first time I fitted the tap was about 15 years ago, I protected the tap tail area with cardboard and used spray foam to strengthen the area which worked ok. I have just refitted the sink to a new...

Silicone as grout - why not.

As per my other post about epoxy its only a small 900x800 area behind a cooker that gets food and grease stained. What is bad about using silicone as grout in my case. I have used it 100s of times and am very experianced with it, I would tape off the tiles first for a supa neat finish.
