Hello My clipper mta36 power floats release valve o rings have gone and made a puddle of hydraulic fluid on the floor, how do I reprime the system. I presume I add oil to the reservoir and pump with the valve open to get rid of any air but how do i know how much to put in?

Just checking this as someone pointed this out to me an now it's got me thinking. If your second floor is greater than 2.7 meters you have to use 7n blocks however I can't see it written it has to be the full wall that has to be 7n so in theory your ground floor can be 3n blocks. Is this correct?

Can both rigid and mineral cavity batts be used in the same cavity, so for example 125mm cavity 75mm kingspan 50mm dritherm? The mineral batt would keep the pir tight to the internal skin no danger of bridging cavity with snots etc.

Just reading though the kingspan literature for insulating a new timber frame building and it says you need to leave an air gap between the outer sheathing. Why is this recommend? The osb sheathing will act like a vapor barrier so the back side don't breath will it? Is there a way to fully fill...

I've just poured fresh slab my slip sheet failed and pushed the insulation and mesh up. Instead of ripping it all out I am planning to recast a new 100mm slab on top. Do I need to wait until the original slab is fully cured? Can I get away with something else?
