Hi I'm getting some cross over of cold water into hot water at a shower mixer valve. The mixer valve is difficult and expensive to replace, so I was wondering, if I fitted a check valve to the hot and cold water inlets would that prevent the cold water from entering the hot water stuff? Thanks

Hi I have an Ecotec Vaillant boiler and a Range tank. Its a unvented system. For some reason the water i get from my hot taps vary from very cold to very hot. The pipes around the tank seem hot. The heating seems to be working. Any ideas what could be causing this. Thanks Jazz

Hi I have MR16 low voltage spotlights. In some rooms we have dimmers and others just standard on/off switches. All the spotlights have their own individual transformers. Whats the easiest way for me to change them to low energy bulbs? Thanks

Hi In my downstairs toilet I have one low voltage spotlight with is switched on by a standard pull cord. There's no other source of light so I was thinking of installing a PIR so the light automatically comes on. Can I install a ceiling PIR between the switch and light? Cheers
