none of the pre-approval tests will tell you, because they used different protocols and different test populations, of different ages, in different places, at different times.
the real-life rollout of 30 million doses in a population of 66 million, will give much better information when it is analysed. By the time we get really good information, UK and US, at least, will probably have vaccinated almost all the adult population (except Trumpists). Things are moving fast.

incidentally, I was just looking at an article published on January 29th.
Allowing for the time it takes to vaccinate the most vulnerable people, the time it takes for immunity to reach its peak, and the time it takes for a person to get infected, become sick, worsen, and, sometimes, die, Harford wrote:

Could be due to something else, then - like here with lower percentage vaccinated.
in Portugal, is there a difference in reduction, between vaccinated groups and unvaccinated groups?
I haven't seen any reference to that.
Given that 'only' 10% (elderly) have been vaccinated yet the figures are similar, proportionate for the population, to the UK's, the UK might be misguided in thinking it is because of the vaccinations.
