The same place you see the plug should have the socket to match,

im not sure what you want but the 110volt yellow plug shown above fits what is known as a 110 volt yellow Trailing socket,

These are normally used for 110 volt appliances via a transformer though, so check thats really what you need first.

The photo shows a battery with (by the looks of it) a white IEC 60309, which is a 50V one. I would have thought that a 25V one would have been adequate, but there ya go.

nemorton - you need to find out what type of connector you need to provide power to your machine - what voltage rating it is, because the different plugs/sockets are incompatible, and what current (because ditto). And what gender you need.

If that is a plug connected to the battery then you need to put a fuse in cable between the battery and the plug. If the plug pins are shorted then the battery will try to dump several hundred amps though the plug and the leads creating a lot of heat. Terminal mounted fuses are a very useful safety device.

The problem with a battery is it needs to have a socket when supplying power to something and it needs a plug if it is to be plugged into a charger.

As connected in the picture there could be strain on the terminals which might cause damage to the gas tight seal between terminal post and the battery casing.

Best to have the battery in a carrying box ( wooden and well ventilated ) with a terminal mounted fuse and a surface mounting socket on the outside of the box. Charging via a protected plug inside the box.

Looks like a socket in that picture to me - You can see that it has the hinged & sprung cover.

There was a range of plugs designed for use in dirty environments where there was a sprung cover over the pins. ( as opposed to the retained cover that was never put on when the plug was lying in the diry swarf enriched debris on the floor )

You probably an MK K9122 W H I or similar

If it is then page 13 of

http://www.mkelectric.com/Documents/English/EN MK Catalogue/Commando.pdf

has the matching items.
