2007 Mazda6 1.8 petrol or 2007 Toyota avensis 1.6 petrol

Hi lads I'm trying to decide between purchasing between these two car from a local dealer both have similar millage and similar price but I'm just looking for your views on which would be the better car to buy?? cause I like both. Would there be much in the difference between the fuel efficiency of the cars?? Any info and advice on which is the better car to buy

You can look it up on Parkers car reviews, they will tell you a lot of other things about them as well. Toyota seem to have better than average customer service if that helps.

Toyota if you have to buy one of them?

Mazda always seem to be difficult to get parts for, mostly main dealer only.
But to be honest the Toyota wont be much better, dealerships closing as we speak. Not sure if its a main Toyota dealer, if it is, ask them to check that all recalls have been covered? Toyota in their wisdom, decided to get someone else (the suppliers) to do quality control for them, madness.
