I've seen pipe collars in toolstation.com 's catalogue as I've been flicking through. Can't remember off the top of my head if they have them in 22mm, but they do have wood ones and they tend to have just about everything for next to nothing.
I bought some foam rollers from there yesterday, £1 for 10. Same pack in B&Q, £8.
They're even cheaper than places like City Plumbing and some items for
Screwfix - those two, and the others, are pretty close though, which is lots less than the more well known stores.
Screwfix is a bit B&Q'y though, in that so many people assume it will be the lowest prices because it says trade.
There is a City Plumbing literally next door to the local toolstation. I walked out of TS into CP with their catalogue in my hand and as I walked up to the desk the guy greeted me with... "We can't match the prices in that".
So..... why start the CP chain or continue it? Identical items, next door and they cost more / don't do free delivery / don't carry a lot of stock & I have to pay to use their vending machine (TS have a free one, kick ass hot soup / chocolate on rainy days and it actually tastes nice)... hmmmm
