3 cable Ring Main??

Hi BS3036,

Extend it? Do you mean back to the CU? If I did that would it need to be on a different circuit breaker?

Cheers,

R.

Hmm... does that mean I HAVE to disconnect it? I have a spare slot on the CU - should I make a new circuit just for those two sockets?

Thanks again,

R.

If you have a spare way in the CU, it would be easiest to move that cable into that way and use a 20amp MCB or fuse.

Although you should be notifying if you do that - part p etc etc. Might be easier to put a FCU before the first of the two sockets on the spur. No notification req'd (i think) if they're in the living rm.

You might want to re think your offer of going round to visit an axe man?

I've been sat on my arse for nearly 13 weeks whilst looking for a job and I'm getting bored..
figure that karma might be a little kinder if I do something nice for someone..
