4" x 10 screws for securing decking joists

Hi,

Which type of screw and size should i go for to join the joists?-i don't want to nail .after doing some relentless searching i found one or two use the above screw but can't find a stockist.i'm wondering which type you guys use and where to buy in bulk?

Joists measure 150 x 50mm

What do you mean exactly by " join the joists"?
Are you talking about fixing the jopists to the posts ?
4" X 10's or better still 12's would do the job or you could always go for bolts or even better still an actual joint. Yes I much prefer when things are kept simple and just called 4" x 12's rather than the thickness in mm's, progress ho hum.

Yes those are perfect, and brilliant when used with an impact driver. No drilling, no cam-out or broken pozi bits

Or just get the coach screws
