Would like to spur off a socket in my garage that has been devided by a stud wall,
would it be okay to run the cable from the existing socket vertically to the 150mm safe zones, then turn 90 degrees and along the top of the wall to the stud wall then turn 90 degrees up above the plasterboard ceiling through joist and back down the other side of the wall, circuit is protected by rcd.
Studwall is 30 minute firewall so did not want to clip against wall and through the stud wall, hope this makes sense, was unsure about making turns in the 150mm safe zone at the top of the wall,
Many thanks
