A missing friend

Some of you may have noticed that we have seen/heard nothing from EFLImpudence for a couple of months, which is very unusual for him.

There could, of course, be any number of explanations (a 'world cruise'? but, for what it's worth, he has not yet responded to private messages from me in DIYnot, neither has he or anyone else responded to e-mails I've sent to an address I have for him and, as yet, DIYnot admin has not been able to assist.

I will obviously keep you posted if I discover anything more but, in the meantime, if anyone has any other thoughts or 'ideas', please shout!

I'm not (yet) so concerned about Harry. He last posted on 8th May, less than 3 weeks ago, but EFLI has not posted since 28th March.

Aparently there are ongoing problems with internet providers in Portugal. Perhaps that is all that's wrong.

As I wrote yesterday, if that were the reason then it would represent a very welcome explanation for EFLIs recent absence from here. However, I've had a look around on-line and have not really found anything about internet problems in Portugal, so I wonder where/how you heard about that, and whether you have any more information about it?

Not sure now if it was F/B or Reddit or Quora or another site to be honest but someone was asking about it as they have been experiencing problems for some time. In my own experience our O2 transmitter was down for the whole of January I think, so that is another, perhaps in Potugal, possibility.

Ah. Since I do everything I can to go nowhere near GD, I missed all that, so I didn't know what has been going on in Harry's life. I obviously share your hope that his is "OK and just having a nice rest". Frightened though he was, the surgery he underwent was pretty 'trivial', so I would imagine/hope that he's OK - but I'll also try messaging him.

I've still heard nothing from, or about, EFLI.
