I know, hated it as a kid. Had some on a pancake off a stall once in Convent Garden and was surprisingly enjoyable Still best 'neat' off a spoon though

TBF I don't have a sweet tooth at all, could easily give up all confectionery (apart from the odd occasion when I buy a packet of minstrels and eat all of them)
I'd say cold toast - I stand mine up to cool down and stay crisp before butter. My better half hates cold toast and will dunk it in tea to warm it up again...
Always pre-heat the toaster before use so that you don't dry out the bread.
Egg sandwiches (runny yoke) should have 'white' toast. Warm, crispy white bread with no hint of colour.
For a real tasty bacon sandwich, once you've made it and before you cut it in half, pop the whole thing back in the pan and fry both sides of the sandwich in the bacon fat. Absolutely gorgeous!
