Hi,

We have recently moved into an old house that has one of these systems installed. The power is disabled by what looks like the fuse having been removed from a fuse box below it (although this seems odd to me), so it's completely unresponsive. We have the original manual but no idea who installed it or what the code is. My question is, do we have any way of getting it operational again? Is the only solution to install a new panel?

Thanks in advance!

These are obsolete, if the back up battery is still connected inside the panel the unit may have burnt out the board.

open unit up and take a look inside for a battery and take a picture of pcb and post it here.

if it’s not got a battery in it it may be okay to power up with a new one placed inside.

the age may affect how the unit is defaulted, manuals are available online and the engineers manual contains the default procedure.
