I have just installed a Accenta/Optima alarm, with one PIR on zone 1 no bell fitted as yet. Jumper fitted across zone 2

The problem I have is that when I do a walk test zone 1 and 2 are unlit zones 3,4,5,6,7,8 are lit and it buzzes all the time so I can test it. The alarm will set but it goes off straight away I have set zones 3,4,5,6,7,8 as unused in all three programs and it still doesn't work.


Can anyone help?

dont then, sort it yourself, what if its a software issue how you going to prove it ???????

I meant why do you need to link them out when you can set them as not being used?

You have wired and programmed it incorrectly.

Or do as advised and LINK out every zone tamper and bell tamper return. Then do a walk test.
It should be silent until a zone is broken.
