I’m extending my drive into the lawn and have been keying in to the old block paving in a herringbone pattern.

I’m having trouble to getting it all square. No matter what end I start at the other end finish’s up with rectangles smaller than 200x100 blocks. What on earth am I doing wrong? I can only presume the angles aren’t spot on so it’s driving out over the length of the drive but there must be a way to sort it?

Any advice please?

It looks good. I assume you applied for planning permission. I suspect each block has a mm or so wiggle room and you are experiencing the cumulative effect. You have to keep tapping them until you can squeeze the blocks in.
