ADE Accenta Mini Pannel + LCD Remote

Hi, hope you can help

Recently installed a accenta mini panel and lcd remote (gen4)

Before fitting the external bell (Reson8) when the alarm was set and then triggered the sounder on the lcd panel activated.

After fitting the external bell the lcd sounder no longer activates when the alarm is triggered, the bell goes off (after the defined delay)


Is that meant to happen >?

testing the sounder works ok in program mode, so assume it is not faulty

have you tested all your sounders/ speakers to ensure all of them are working and not just the bell?

I would have checked your wiring, but I don't fit these panels, so would have to look up in the manual.

Doesn't ring true to me that a belll box fitted stops the keypad sounding.

on test the sounder works fine,

you ssaid the LCD / panel sounder stopped working, you can be test speaker test etc etc on alarm systems so does everything test out the same as it did before the bell was added???

when i do a walk test everything is fine. so just programmed the bell delay option to 00. so now when entering the house (alarm set) the sounder and external bell go off straight away. is there a way to delay the external bell going off ?

all sorted, it was down to programing the system - a mix of Bell Delay / Entry Time / Zones
