ADE G4 Accenta Engineer code has become invalid

Hi

I recently replaced 4 PIRs on my system for Pet Friendly ones.

I put the system in to Engineer mode to prevent any tamper alarms.

When I removed the first PIR (Zone 4), I accidentally touched some of the wires together which triggered the alarm.

I stopped the alarm by entering User Code 1. Zone 1 LED flashed whilst the Power LED was solid.

I pressed RESET and the system went back in to Day mode.

However, when I went to go back in to Engineer mode, the system would not let me. I pressed PROG and 9999 (the Engineer Code has never been changed) and the system gave an invalid tone and remained in Day mode.

How do I get back in to Engineer mode? I have considered that I may have to follow the reset procedure for resetting User Code 1 and the Engineer Code but was hoping to avoid doing that.

Any advice much appreciated.

If no access to engineer mode then only option would be to default user 1 and engineer code.

Ensure not faults on panel like tamper faults and try to access eng mode again.
