Can anyone point me in the direction of some stick-on fittings common to wall mounts with room for a screw head and vertical slot above that to drop into. I want to put my Virgin cable box out of the way but it has no mounts of its own. I'm assuming the fittings i describe can be found with adhesive backs for this sort of job?

I would be vary wary of relying on adhesive fixings for mounting equipment in that way, a lot would depend on the surface to wich the fixings would be attached, only a glazed impervious surface would be safe, forget sticking things to painted surfaces.

The adhesive part is just to fix it to the cable modem, which is very light.. i'm looking for a metal fixing i can attach to it so i can wall mount.. of the type you wall mount most things with.. sitting on the floor atm, messy.

I basically want something like that which can be stuck on.. as i obviously don't want to be drilling the modem :)
