The office is being built so i stood on the base lol
No there is no wall but there are some trees that narrow the garden and then some trellis, and I guess the office will block the "route" to the summer house when its built.
If its omni directional maybe I will try it on the office when its built

Was the AP mounted correctly, and if it has external antennae, how were they positioned?

well the ap was just hanging from a screw on the wall for testing purposes. its the ac-m pro so no antennavisible
