Hello,

I've recently got a hive mini to replace a Siemens RDJ10RF.

I'm not the most electrically skilled person, however I thought I'd do my best and see if its possible for me to do. Any help you could provide would be great!

I've attached the picture of the Siemens receiver, which looks as though the blue wire is permanent neutral, brown wire is permanent live, green and yellow wire is connected to LX and there is a link between permanent live and L1

I'm a bit lost as to which wire would need to run to 3- heating on, on the hive receiver.

The yellow and green wire, now going into LX, would connect to 'Heating on' (3) on the Hive.
As you have probably guessed, you also need to make a link between Hives 'Live' (L) and 'Common' (1)

...And, ideally you need a 3 core + earth flex to connect up your receiver. Yellow and Green wires should only really be used for earth connections.
At the least, get yourself some brown sleeving, to denote the wire is a switched live.

I hope that helps! :)

Thank you so much for your help and your prompt reply. You've really helped me out!
