I'm a trainee electrician, working for a small 3 man team. I've done some training and got my 16th etc, and feel pretty confident installing work.
However, recently my gaffers been expecting alot more of me. I'm being sent out on quite a few fault finding missions, and even though i am solving them, it takes me 3x as long as it should to figure/find them, which i then get *******ed for. Is there any websites/pages that give the correct practices for fault finding on domestic dwellings, as my gaffer just says thats what u go to college for.

Anyhelp would be good :)

If you say you are solving them then that is great it shows that you are understanding things. The ability to do it quicker will only come with experience which a good boss would understand

Good luck ;)
