Alternative to stone / cast balustrade

Had a quote from Haddonstone, one of the major stone companies for a balustrade but got quoted a lot of money i.e. excess of £10k for a large surround to my garden patio.

I'd like the bottle effect to create that grand effect for a patio surround but just wondered if there was a more cost effective way to get the effect I want without it necessarily being stone dry cast.

They do composite versions, but normally composite is never cheaper than the real thing.
