thanks for reply. the link is not something i would be going for. the oak will be fine fitted in the attic as we have new staircase etc.

i really fancy this size board over a smaller one.
i will be looking for alternatives between now and next spring when i start the conversion. so hopefully plenty of time to find an alternative.
