As is GB attaining net zero in relation to the rest of the world. Yet GB net zero is critical I've heard. Two tier climate lol.
Every little helps, more so as trumpf moves into full scale denial.

Whilst your point has validity and it’s a difficult problem to solve but it’s a regressive argument
Your argument is the old student house analogy: “well I’m not cleaning the kitchen because Billy never did it last week”

Something that is everybody's responsibility becomes no one’s responsibility.

Anyway there is huge growth in development of green technology, it is in the interest of the U.K. to be at the front in that race not sitting back letting other countries take over.

I don’t think U.K. governments are approaching net zero in a sensible way, but it should still be a goal.

Chinna building coal fired power stations does not mean we should stop cleaning up our rivers, it has a direct effect on us at home.

That, and the tax benefits, but mostly............

the acceleration ;)

Maybe time to go back to horse and cart, they were quick

We're heading in that direction.
Here in London is total chaos with all kind of road rules and restrictions.
Last Sunday it took me 2 hours to cover 10 miles.
With horse and carriage I could've taken several shortcuts and surely make it in about an hour.
They're forcing us off the cars, even financially, so next step is either bicycle or horse.
Progress for you!

A decent electric bike with thick treaded tyres and panniers has got to be an option for some trades
