Id ask my child what they wanted to do.

Did they find his politics interfering into the drama class etc.

OR could they keep their own opinions, or even strengthen it despite such politics.

Yeah, you're probably that person. Do you ever wonder why others make excuses when you attend things?

I attend lots of things with people from all political views.

If politics comes up I just ask the relevant questions and it usually goes back to the reason of meeting. Be that, sports, social, family, work etc.

By relevant questions, it's just normally asking for the facts to back up the bs

Your child would not know, nor would their parent know about any strong political affiliations their teachers may harbour. If they did become apparent then the teacher would likely be suspended or sacked.
