Another drooping upvc door

The screws will be, well just screws. Not all doors are the same thickness, and your sounds to be thinner than some - hence why some handles come with two pairs of screws. You're going to need to look at things to see where the play is coming from I'm afraid.

Some older doors were only 58mm, I've worked on 58mm, 62mm, 65mm, most now are 70mm, they supply screws that will cover every application and sometimes you'll have to cut them down

Hi Both

Sorry for delay responding but been away for a few days. You (collectively) were 200% right in that screw was too big for width of door. Reverted to originals and handle nice and flush.

Thanks again for your patience and expertise.

Glad you got it sorted in the end, going back to your comment that the screws should be the right size, well handle manufacturers don't know which system the handle will eventually be fitted to so either supply long and short screws or some even supply these.....

......you just snap off what you don't need, these screws will cover every eventuality but hey you've got yours sorted so all's good
