I have already posted a couple of questions on here re. my DIY project to re-board and cover my link-detached flat garage roof. I have looked at various sites and videos re. EPDM application, and I am happy that it shouldn't be above my skills.

The only info I can't find is how to deal with folding/cutting/fixing/sealing the roof where the front or back ridge fascias meet in the 4 corners with the house walls. I have seen info re. internal corners and folding 'pigs ears'. However these are corners where the house wall/flashing side of the corner will be higher than the ridge fascia where they meet.

How do you deal with these corners. Is a pigs ear still useable, or should I be cutting the EPDM where the fascia ridge and wall/flashing meet and using an EPNM flashing patch?

Hope this makes sense.

Do the pigs ear, don't cut it. Sometimes the pigs ear can look a bit messier than if you cut it and patched it but the less cuts you have the less chance of anything happening albeit 10-15 yrs down the line.
