Anti semitic attack

Awful thing to happen, know the area well and my heart goes out to to the Jewish community, but could the police have known something was about to happen? the armed response unit shot him dead within 7 minutes of call being made, seems very quick to me, they had to be on patrol in the area to get there in that time, drove past a mosque about a mile away from the scene with police standing guard outside

Still no update from the police as to the identity and motive of the attacker. When this news is released, there will be some very uncomfortable truths about what has been allowed to happen in this country.
If we're not aware of the full details by tomorrow morning, I for one will be suspecting a cover up.

Just as we shouldn't blame all Jews for the actions of Israel, if this man turns out to be a Muslim, we shouldn't blame all Muslims in this country for the actions of one vile extremist.

I'm more concerned about whether or not he's affiliated to Hamas or any other terror group, and if so, how they're permitted to operate openly.

Do you have some information. Is that what's circling online.

Nor should we ignore the possibility that he might be a victim of this genocide carried out by Israel. Not directly, obviously, but his family could easily have been wiped out by one Israeli missile. And I'm sure there are many people in that situation.
Before anyone accuses me of being a terrorist sympathiser, think how you would react if your family were killed in horrendous circumstances by an occupying military whose behaviour is reprehensible.
I hope that I would not succumb to the lure of revenge. But it is a negative and debilitating emotion, as seen by members of the IDF, who target and kill women and children.

Violence only ever breeds more violence, and mindless violence breeds more mindless violence.
The more violence meted out to innocent Palestinian civilians the greater the possibility of revenge attacks.

And let's not pretend this conflict started on 7th October 2023.

They were today.
Don't be silly. It's impossible to guard every person in UK that might or might not be a Jew.
And why would it only be provided for Jews?
In asking why they can operate openly, you are assuming it was a group of some sort.
You don't know if it was, or if it wasn't.
According to what is known so far, it appears to be one individual carrying out an attack. Such attacks are difficult or impossible to predict, like any other murder.

Said on the news that all Jewish schools and religious buildings now have to have security guards
