Hi All, I'm pulling up laminate flooring in a Victorian house and have found some underlay boards, potentially there for insulation. I think it's a long shot as I doubt the laminate is over 20 years old, but is there any chance this could be asbestos? Pics attached
Without a test you can’t be 100% but thinking logically as you have, its most likely underlay for the laminate which is much more modern than asbestos usage. However, seeing as you’re removing it, do so carefully and avoid smashing or busting the boards up just to be super safe.
