not sure but am interested in how many meters they say you should be able to fit in a day?
Me too
As to what are you signing up for...
Lots of hard work if the fella's scheduling your work load for a day are like ours
Seriously tho take your time and don't try and keep up with the fella's that have been doing it for years.
It may only be fitting electric meters but at the end of the day it still can be dangerous and kill you.
The company I work for have recently taken on lots of new starters and at a time they also have had a work incentive going (the more you do the more your paid etc).
Over the last few months there have been new staters sacked over wrong polaritys, loose connections and other dangerous instances.
I was told we'd had more wrong polaritys over the last few months than we'd had over the last ten years.
For example I've just heard of one fella (too be fair I don't know if he was new or not) working on an old 3phase ironclad type cutout.
He removed the cover and as some sparks will know

the covers need to be lifted slightly before they can swing open.
He lifted the cover slightly too much only to find that the fuse holders were missing and the metal cover touched 2 phase's.
I've heard he is ok but does have some burns even with wearing all his PPE.
I don't know if you've had any previous experience with mains or indeed electricity but my advice is to just take your time (even when your boss is on your back) and if your not happy doing a certain job leave it to one of the others who know about them.
