Anyone CORGI reg: Gas hob/cooker near an openable window

Since the tenant refused to allow disconnection I had to call in Transco - the water heater was just as bad.

I went to one where the missing burner could be seen through the window but the tenant would not let me in.

I called CORGI who agreed it was ID and then called Transco to ask them to cut off gas from outside.

Transco said they only do that in the case of uncontrolled gas escapes and not for bad condition cookers!

I think it was the holes in the water heater that swung it. So old it had a bi-metalic FSD.

Note how considerate the landlord was insulating the walls with carpet :LOL:
