Anyone Used Tru Blu? Any Good?

I noticed a thread sealant in the Toolstation catalogue recently called Tru Blu. Says it's for water, gas, LPG, oil, etc. Has anyone used it? Seems like very good value. A 118ml tin goes for 8 quid, whereas something like Loctite 557 is over £20 for a small 50ml bottle.

I'm supposing you just brush it on the thread instead of using PTFE tape (or hemp and paste for NigeF ), etc and do it up. Interested to hear any views.
