We laid a patio last weekend and one of the slabs has a slight rock & it had to be right in the middle!!

Any idea how to get it out if possible?

Could i put dry cement down the side?

or like a friend suggested smash it then relay

You need to grind out and remove the pointing from all around first.

Then get an L shaped piece of something and slide it down under the slab and twist it 90deg then you can use it and a second one to lift the slab.

This will only work if there are some small voids in the bedding.

Depending on the width of the joints, you may be able to lever it up using a couple of chisels, working one and then the other. Make sure you put something down on the adjoining slab, so you don't mark it. Otherwise, it's going to be break it and put a new one in.

You may be able to slide a strong piece of bent wire down the cross joint, and then turn it 45 degrees, but you'd need to do it on two corners at the same time.
