Ok let's take this topic back on track and further.
"Imagine" this scenario:
Democracy in this country has been shown for what it is, a lie,
i.e. to keep the populace happy they are given the voting process, which has over the years merely changed the name of the party in power, yet as we know they are all the same as they are all in the game of controlling us all through rules and regulations and merely take it in turns to "govern" (those not governing at the time still live a life of luxury compared to the masses).
Some like the brave ones in Burma object to these controls and want true democracy, so they protest, would the now armed police here use these weapons against these protestors? We know the violence that was metered out during the miners strike and that was just a protest over jobs and livelihoods so what if the stakes were higher and the populace wanted the current regimes, sorry I mean parties, involved in politics out and a fresh start?
Would those in power and by that I mean not just those elected to "government" accept the voice of the masses or deal out the "civilised" way of control?
How far would the elite go if really pushed?
The army isnt really needed except maybe for backup for internal control as the police have proved in the past, they would be perfectly capable of controlling such a scenario with swift and clinical expertise, just wonder how a "civilised" society would show to the world how far they are prepared to go to protect their positions of power?
Are those in Authority here any much different to those we call dictatorships? Have they just yet to show their true colours?
Some may say why upset the status quo? That is a matter of opinion as to what is acceptable as the status quo and to whom.
Of course all the above is an imaginary vision of what may be...........or is it?
