He wishes it wasn't, and therefore adopts the utterly ludicrous position that if he pretends it is not then it won't be.

Oh come on - political aspirations are one thing; arguing about compass points which everyone can see is pointlees.

It's all the bloody Normans' fault; it's worse in England - chuck them out.

That is indeed a ridiculous spelling of that word.
Thanks for pointing that out, I've gone back and corrected it.

Can we take it that you will now go back and correct all the errors you have made concerning what does, and does not, constitute the Republic of Ireland?

The county border is to the west.
Another mistake for you to put right - the border is ALSO to the north - you can see it on that map.

It's a fact - the county border is to the west rather than the north. I suggest you zoom out from the map and you will see that clearly. That so-called "person" doesn't know what he's talking about.

How does zooming out change the fact that if you draw a line running north from Londonderry it crosses the bordr?

If you've been to Derry/Londonderry (using that term as neutrally as possible) you will realise that the flow of business, tourism and general traffic is East/West and vice versa, sometimes there is more to communities than just lines on a map.

Blup
