I get mine from Vaux main dealers £45 plus vat for 20ltr of 5w30 fully synth
using the trade club via another forum
they now do all spec for other makes[/list]

The link I posted shows the oil at £16.
I was in again tonight and it's actually £14 for 5 litres.
I know guys in the trade can get those prices everyday but, for the DIY guys on the site who only want to change their own oil, it's a really good price.

I don't know what's caused all these sudden discounts

For a 5W30 to Ford spec, this is a great price (you may have to check stock in other local branches)
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/..._productId_907233_langId_-1_categoryId_165581
the 5-litre bottles are more than twice the price

or for a Big Name fully synth with a temporary 20% off
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/..._productId_723401_langId_-1_categoryId_165581

Tesco had put the Castrol Magnatec 4 litres Ford Spec down to about £21.50 in my local store (which is opposite a big Halfords)

Usually Wilko are very cheap for motor oil, but they have not (yet) joined in the scrum

I was looking for a 1-litre bottle to keep in the boot, and I can buy a 4-litre of the same spec for less.

If you can link to the Safety documentation, the own brands seem to be made by Comma.

Just seen this thread in the corner of my eye!
Noticed my oil was low this morning before work, where's the cheapest place atm?

Vauxhall changed the oiil offer now
trade club price £14 for 5w30 long life fully synthetic
worth joining the VXON for the trade club
just serviced my Zafira and genuine Vauxhall was the cheapest place to get the bits beating Local motor factors and beat ebay

This is worth getting if you have space at the back of the garage....depending on the car, of course.
